After a week and a half of rainy days, the sun finally decided to show itself. It was the perfect temperature to work outside. I finished cleaning up the old berry area that I had started on the last dry day. It feels good crossing that job off my list! I spent the rest of the afternoon picking flowers. I was surprised that so many survived, considering how much rain pounded down on them. I had fun arranging them and putting them in every room. Having flowers in the house makes me feel pampered and brings a smile to my face!
This sheep container is great for flowers that have short stems
My dahlias have been amazing this year. I can’t wait to add to them next year!
Just a cute little bunch with some cranberry viburnum leaves.
My friend from www.jennsgarden.com had little bottles with flowers all over her house when I was there. It inspired me to gather my small bottles and do the same
I planted sunflower seeds that I saved from last year. I love both the bronze and the yellow flowers.
My sister gave me this bottle and hanger that is right above my desk.
I love a pitcher of flowers on my island to enjoy while I cook. I have been making room in the garden to grow zinnias the last couple of years. I think its my favorite crop!
A big bunch of flowers in the middle of the table helps me not use this space as somewhere to set things that are waiting to be put away.
Even the bathroom got a flower this time!
